Japanese Foreign Minister to Pay Official Visit to Cambodia

Phnom Penh: On July 1, 2024, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has announced that Her Excellency KAMIKAWA Yoko, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, will make an official visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia from July 5 to 6, 2024. This visit comes at the invitation of His Excellency SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

During her stay, Minister Kamikawa will have separate courtesy calls with Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN Sen, President of the Senate, and Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia. Additionally, she will hold a bilateral meeting with Deputy Prime Minister SOK Chenda Sophea.

This visit aims to maintain the momentum of frequent high-level exchanges between the two nations and to further deepen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Cambodia and Japan.
